Lars Fischer is a versatile tenor from Switzerland, acclaimed for his “rounded resonance” and “mesmerisingly potent” characterisations. He recently performed with Longborough Festival Opera as Remendado and Oberon, Savonlinna Opera Festival, Gothic Opera, at Tête-à-tête Opera Festival, and in the chorus of Opera Holland Park. Beyond the stage, Lars is passionate about Swedish and German repertoire, and works as a stage manager, assistant director and language coach. After completing his Feldenkrais practitioner training in August 2024, he will start a Ph.D. at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, integrating the Feldenkrais Method with singing. He studied at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
